With YES TO STRENGTH's Online Training
Distance Is Nothing.
Let’s Work Together To Create Your Best Program, Ever!
Dear Friend,
I have had second thoughts about offering an online training program for a very long time.
First of all, nothing is as important for your progress as the coach to client contact in the gym. This has been scientifically proven.
Second, it is much more difficult to teach, observe or correct technical form on known or new exercises when you are not physically with your athlete/client.
Third, I love being in the gym and the thought of online clients had not been very attractive to me.
So why have I changed my mind?
Why do I offer this online training program now?
I offer this online training program, because I have found a way to work together with you even though we are thousands of miles apart.
With this system we get as close to being in the same gym as possible without that actually happening.
With this way of working, I am confident that together we can create your best program, ever! And I am putting my years of experience with professional and Olympic calibre athletes behind this promise.
I have had Karsten Jensen as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for almost 8 years. We started working together in 1999 after I got injured in my shoulder; a long injury as it turned out. I was away from tournament tennis for 19 months. In those 19 months Karsten helped me get in the best physical shape of my life and that was of priceless importance for me; coming back to the ATP Tour as fast and good as I did. I believe that I have played better tennis after my injury and a big reason for that is Karsten's help with my strength and conditioning. Karsten is an excellent strength and conditioning coach and it's very motivating to work with him. He is very professional and incredibly good at making you push yourself to the maximum. I can highly recommend Karsten as a Strength and Conditioning Coach.
Kenneth Carlsen,
Professional tennis player
3-time ATP-tournament winner - 1998, 2002, 2005
As a ju-jitsu competitor my goals were to be strong, explosive and have great endurance. Karsten's training programs were specific to my needs and thus I experienced marked improvements in all categories. Since 2005 Karsten has had a counselling and valued role for my strength training.

In my work as a strength and conditioning coach with the Danish Naval Frogman Unit I have recieved invaluable support from Karsten Jensen. Karsten’s knowledge and passion for strength and conditioning makes him an inspiration for other strength coaches as well as for athletes.
Strength and Conditioning in the Naval Frogmans Unit has centered around a culture of aerobic training in the form of running. Karsten coached me to change the traditional aerobic training protocol towards a more functional approach. The change is perceived by the soldiers to be more relevant and challenging, and has also manifested a significantly reduced rate of injury. Karsten Jensen introduced a ”multiple quality block – system” and it fits our daily training perfectly.
Karsten’s knowledge and friendly personality will be missed in the Frogman Unit, however, his ideas on strength and conditioning will remain as long as I am the strength and conditioning coach.

Can Online Training Be Beneficial For You?
An online training set up is not for everyone.
You might have a lifestyle and priorities that take up the majority of your mental energy. Thus, when you exercise, you prefer something relatively undemanding. For example, your may prefer to have a trainer tell you exactly what to do and be responsible for recording your sets, reps, weights, etc.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a trainer tell you what to do and write down your poundage. If you desire a training environment like that, online training is not the solution for you.
On the other hand, if you are someone who likes a high degree of responsibility for your training the YES TO STRENGTH ONLINE TRAINING PROGRAM might be the right solution for you.
- Maybe you have trained many years on your own, but now desire input from someone else.
- Maybe you are not happy with your progress and want to trade stagnation for renewed progress.
- Maybe you are new to the training world and want to learn from an “old” guy and capitalize on my 15 years of experience with strength and conditioning.
If you are still curious, please continue reading to find out how we can create your best program, ever.
HOW WE CAN CREATE YOUR BEST PROGRAM, EVER!
Step 1: Email me and book a time for a 30 minute call on Skype
(Saturday 9am-1pm EST or Wednesdays 5pm-8pm EST)
During our call you can ask me any questions you might have about how the YES TO STRENGTH online training program works.
I will use the opportunity to get to know you better by asking you some preliminary questions about your background, available equipment and current schedule.
If you are still interested in signing up for the YES TO STRENGTH online training program after our conversation, please proceed with the steps outlined below.
Download Skype by clicking here.
Step 2: Pay for the initial assessment Upon payment of the initial assessment you receive immediate access to several questionnaires:
-
A Goal statement questionnaire
-
A Training Experience questionnaire
-
A Current Schedule questionnaire
-
A Physical Readiness assessment sheet
-
An Available Equipment sheet
In order for us to create your best program ever, you will need to complete the above listed forms and return them to me by email. You might also need to perform a self assessment of your flexibility as described in the book “How to Eat Move and Be Healthy, by Paul Chek”. You can purchase the book by clicking here.
Also, I wish to see your form in various exercises. Therefore the assessment also includes that you record some short movie clips of yourself as you perform several types of exercises. This information is critical in creating your best program, ever.
It is no coincidence that I wrote “WE can create your best program ever” – the information you give me, your feedback and your cooperation is crucial.
The information on the questionnaires is so important that if I don’t feel I get a solid “picture” of your status based on the information you give me, I will refund your money immediately and not take you on as a client.
If you are ready to get started with your Free Initial Phone Consultation:
Step 3: I analyse your results and respond to you by email
Within 7 days of receiving your completed questionnaires and videos, I will analyse your results and respond to you by email.
You will need to respond to my email by booking a 45 min appointment for a call on Skype. (Saturday 9am-13pm EST or Wednesdays 5-8pm EST) with the following agenda:
- Discuss your goal and agree on how we will measure its accomplishment.
- I will ask you about any questions I may have about your questionnaires. Also, I may recommend further testing by specific practitioners in you area.
This may be the case if:
- You have experienced previous injury that was not treated by a professional.
- You have never received nutritional advice.
- You have any health issues, whatsoever.
This step alone is invaluable. Many of us are held back in our training not by what we do or don’t do in training, but because our vital energy and thus ability to respond to, and recover from the training is lacking.
If you don’t need any further testing and are ready to start a training program, you can then proceed to the Services page and select a program option from the Online Training menu. The program options are:
- 8 week training program
- 12 week training program
- 16 week training program
- 20 week training program
An 8 week training programs is the shortest program offered. That’s because for nearly every physique goal, you will need a minimum of 8 weeks of structured training to elicit any significant improvement.
Chose the duration that fits your needs and desires. For example:
- If you want to test out the YES TO STRENGTH on line training, choose 8 weeks.
- If you are an athlete and have a competition coming up 16 weeks from now, choose the 16 week option.
For each duration, you can choose between a strength program only or a strength program plus an endurance, speed or agility program, depending on your goals.
IMPORTANT NOTE: I am not a nutrition expert and I don’t give nutritional advice or advice on supplementation. I always prefer REAL experts like Dr. Dempster (click here to read his article).
Step 4: I create a periodized plan and your detailed training program
I create a periodized plan for the duration of the entire program and your detailed training program for the first 4 weeks.
Check my article “How To Create A Training Program” to learn about the process I will go through as I create your training program.
The program I create will be specific to:
- Your goals
- Your long term schedule (competitions, vacations, travels, exams etc)
- Your weekly schedule (available time and also coordinated with other training types)
- Your training experience
- Your available equipment
I am not locked into “swissball training”, “kettlebell training”, power lifting or any other particular style of training. We select the exercises that will help you reach your goals regardless of what those exercises are.
The programs I create for you and the coaching I give you includes the following:
- A unique system of long term planning that incorporates a number of highly effective training strategies
- Coaching on your mental pictures of strength and power – a key component to your progress
- Recovery techniques that can help you move towards your goals even on recovery days.
- Outdoor training when applicable – an overlooked element of effective training (Check out “Best Butt on the Beach" if you want to learn more about the benefits of outdoor training).
You will receive:
- a training plan - Click here to see a sample training plan
- a warm up program - Click here to see a sample warm up program
- the main training programs and - Click here to see a sample main training program
- a cool down program - Click here to see a sample cool down program
Follow the above links to see examples of how the various programs can look. Please note: the sample programs are very specific to the needs of the person for whom it was designed and I made sure that he understood the program completely.

Step 5: You receive your specific training program by email.
Within 7 days after you have chosen and paid for a specific training program I send the training program to you by email. You will need to book another call on Skype (Saturday 9am-13pm EST or Wednesdays 5-8pm EST) in order for me to explain the program to you.
In case I need to show you new exercises, they will be explained on video and posted in a secure section on my Facebook page by the day I send the training program to you. The videos will be specific to your needs and based on the video(s) I receive from you.
It is strongly advised that you review any videos relevant to your program before our conversation.
Step 6: Email me questions and comments about your program.
During your training you can email me questions and comments about your training. I will also ask you to complete a training diary that will be supplied to you with your first program.
Step 7: Send me your training diary.
At the end of the third week of the program you must scan your training diary and email it to me. The information in this training diary is very important feedback.
I will need to receive this diary no later than the Tuesday of the fourth week. If I don’t have the diary by that date the program will need to be postponed a week.
Step 8: Determine if the program was successful.
At the end of the program I will send you an evaluation sheet and we determine whether the program was a success or not.
Get started today. Discover your best program, ever!
Now you know how we can engage in online training.
I hope you can see that it is a very thorough process that maximizes your chances of success.
Personally, if there were good trainers in my area, I would go for the personal contact over the online training.
But if those trainers don’t offer the advice I need, I would look elsewhere.
With the technology of the internet the world has become very, very small and a trainer and a coach can effectively work together even though they never set foot in the same gym.
Distance is nothing.
Email me today so we can get started with your YTS Online Training Program.
In health and strength,
Karsten Jensen
